ABOUT DR. LE
Hello my name is Dr. Le and I want to welcome you to our clinic website. I want to use this opportunity to offer a little information about my background. As you may know, today’s patients are more educated about their healthcare and want to know as much as possible about their doctor’s philosophy and experience. I feel this is necessary in order to establish trust between patient and physician. Here are the most important facts about my background.
I came to the United States from Vietnam when I was 16 years old with my medically-oriented family. My father was a nurse practitioner in Vietnam where I helped him with his practice even as a child. My brother is a pharmacist and my sister is a registered nurse. I attended high school, and college in Georgia. I graduated from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009 where I feel that the most important thing I learned was to treat patients with the utmost respect. I completed my Family Medicine residency at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in 2012. I have practiced medicine in Bluefield since finishing my residency and have enjoyed serving this community.
All physicians work hard to provide the best possible care and strive to make you better. What makes me different is that I will spend as much time as necessary listening to you and I will explain things simply and in detail so that you understand my thinking. By doing so I give you the opportunity make informed decisions and participate in your own healthcare. Furthermore, I am available on weekends and my patients can contact me via the hospital operator when necessary.
